PARENTS AND EDUCATORS
ARE KEY TO CHANGE.

Become the architect of thriving communities for students.

True learning, healing, and thriving happen in the presence of meaningful relationships.

A psychologist, author, and storyteller on stage, Doug Bolton, Ph.D., brings the emotional data to life, delivering hands-on strategies to support connection with students, encourage individual growth, and build resilient ecosystems.

His professional history, combined with his timeless wisdom as a parent, allows him to meet people where they are with relatable humor and humility.

Harnessing the Power of Belonging in Schools

A sense of belonging within a school community is perhaps the most powerful tool for promoting student resilience, intensifying academic engagement, enhancing academic achievement, and improving attendance while reducing behavior problems, substance use, and suicidal ideation.

Unfortunately, our schools are experiencing a belonging crisis.

Drawing upon research from brain science, social sciences, education, and 30 years of practice within schools, this workshop will help participants uncover the positive impact of a belonging community on students and staff. It will also discuss factors that threaten a student's sense of belonging and provide strategies that can be implemented immediately to create a belonging community for children and staff in our classrooms and schools.
